NDDLC delegate's daughter suffers life-altering medical event. Support required for family while she recovers.
On December 7, 2020, the young daughter of an NDDLC delegate suffered a brain bleed. Her father rushed her to the hospital and she was later air lifted to BC Children’s Hospital for emergency brain surgery. She remains in Children's in a coma with her family at her side.
A fund has been created to assist the delegate's family and daughter through this difficult time. Donations will be used to help the family while they support their daughter through her recovery, the extent of which is still unknown. Unused funds will be donated back to BC Children’s Hospital who has been providing amazing care.
The NDDLC voted at our December AGM to provide assistance to our delegate. If you'd like to help, you can find the go-fund-me site by clicking here.
We hold the family in our thoughts as they move through this challenging time.
